Vidlun Support
Vidlun is a voice journal for feelings. You say one sentence about the day; the app recognises speech right on your phone and helps you name what was said.
Frequently asked
Where does my voice go?
Nowhere. Speech is recognised on the phone itself; audio is never sent. A recording stays on the device for a year and then deletes itself; the written entry stays for good. Details in the privacy policy.
Why did recording stop at one minute?
A free recording runs up to one minute; with a subscription, up to five. Nothing said is lost — the take is kept exactly as if you had pressed stop.
How do I cancel the subscription?
The App Store manages subscriptions: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Vidlun → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
I reinstalled the app and the subscription is gone
Open the subscription screen and tap “Restore purchase” — the App Store returns it to this Apple ID. Journal entries do not survive deleting the app: they live only on your phone, and we hold no copy.
How do I delete my data?
One entry — swipe it in the journal. All audio — turn off “Keep recordings” in your profile. Everything — delete the app: it all goes with it, because nowhere but your phone does this data exist.
The reminder does not arrive
Check iPhone Settings → Vidlun → Notifications → allowed. And note: if today already has an entry, tonight’s reminder is deliberately skipped.
